Toroidal Transformer
Special Features
Advantages (Compared to laminated transformers.)
The toroid's unique configuration provides maximum containment of magnetic fields. EMI fields are up to eight times lower than that of a laminated transformer. A high packing density leads to a smaller package and lighter weight in the toroidal transformer. Toroids offer up to a 50% weight reduction compared to laminated models. Lower off-load power consumption leads to increased electrical efficiency. Toriods offer energy savings of up to 86% at no-load and 36% under load conditions. The lack of air gaps within the core reduces vibration and makes the audible noise generated by the toroid inherently low. We can provide custom dimensions to meet almost any product or system parameter. The toroid's efficient design reduces energy and material costs. Mounting Options. Easy one-bolt mounting. Pressureless mounting plates. Resin center plotting with brass insert or metal housing. PCB mounting. Complete encapsulation in plastic or metal housing.
